McAuley Lecture 2011

An invitation to the 2011 McAuley Lecture 

This year’s McAuley Lecture will be given by Mary Reynolds rsm, executive director of Mercy International Association.

Her topic is ‘God’s Mercy from Age to Age: a reflection on the birthing, expansion and challenge of the Mercy charism.’

With wide experience as a secondary teacher and counsellor in Ireland, Mary has served on the Leadership Team of the Mercy Congregation in Ireland.

Her current task is to lead Mercy International Association in implementing its vision to incarnate the spirit of Catherine McAuley in ways which are creative and appropriate to the needs of our time.

  •  Monday 11 July, 7.30pm, Te Wahanga Atawhai Mercy Conference Centre, Guildford Terrace, Thorndon, Wellington
  •  Wednesday 13 July, 7.30pm, St Joseph’s Parish Centre, 133 Main North Road, Papanui, Christchurch
  •  Saturday 16 July, 1.30pm, Hutton Theatre, Otago Museum, Dunedin 

Due to unforeseen circumstances Mary is unable to travel to Aotearoa New Zealand.  However the lecture has been filmed for us to enjoy.
