Atawhai Assisi Home and Hospital Ltd Hamilton
In 1993 the Sisters of Mercy were asked to take over the ownership and stewardship of Atawhai Assisi from the Franciscan Sisters of the Divine Motherhood. Atawhai Assisi is situated in 3 acres of park like grounds with mature trees and 600 rose bushes. Atawhai Assisi Rest Home has 28 beds and two flats for frail priests of the diocese. The hospital has 30 single rooms, of which 21 have access to shared ensuites. All rooms have views across the extensive grounds and 
surrounding countryside or pleasant courtyards. Atawhai Assisi prides itself in the provision of quality care at all levels of service. This is demonstrated by continuous accreditation with Quality Health New Zealand from 1995.

Waiatarua Mercy Parklands Hospital and Retirement Home Ltd Auckland
Waiatarua Mercy Parklands is a 92 bed Private Hospital and Retirement Home owned by the Sisters of Mercy operating in a modern purpose built building opened in 1987. Services provided at Waiatarua Mercy Parklands reflect the Mercy philosophy which preserves and promotes the dignity and worth of each individual. Te Kainga Atawhai o Hata Katarina St Catherine's Rest Home was opened in 1988 and is located next to St Mary's Convent and St Mary's College in Ponsonby. St Catherine's is a 25 bed rest home and residents include: Sisters of Mercy, Sisters from other Religious Congregations and other retired women who welcome the peaceful environment and prayerful lifestyle offered in this home.

Te Ara Awhina Sisters of Mercy Elderly Outreach Ltd Auckland
This Agency, begun in 1991, is administered by the Sisters of Mercy and serves Glen Innes, Point England, Tamaki and Mt Wellington. Community workers provide home visits and practical assistance, social networking and life enriching activities for the elderly.
